TORONTO JR.-SR. HIGH SCHOOL CLUBS

Toronto Jr.-Sr. High School offers specialized clubs designed to appeal to the diverse interests and needs of our students.

The Art Club brings together students who are passionate about art to create individual and group art projects that are used for displays throughout the school and community as well as sold for fundraising purposes.

The Key Club is sponsored by the Toronto Kiwanis Club. The purpose of this club is to assists Kiwanis in carrying out its mission to serve the children of the world. High school student members of Key Club perform acts of service in their communities, such as cleaning up parks, collecting clothing and organizing food drives. They also learn leadership skills by running meetings, planning projects and holding elected leadership positions at the club, district and international levels.

The Yearbook Club is responsible for publish the annual high school yearbook. Members of the club take pictures of school events, select the content of the yearbook, and design the layout for the publication.

The Media Club was created with the intent to provide students an opportunity to explore their creativity in video and digital media. Students use cameras and computer programs for individual student projects that are for both class projects and individual enrichment, as well as opportunities for special events. Some possible media club activities include creation of sports highlight films, school news broadcasts, promotional videos for school events, and public service announcements.

The French Club gives students the opportunity to participate in fun activities to hone their French language skills and explore the culture.
