Toronto City School District has a a school-based health center (SBHC) at Toronto Jr.-Sr. High School operated by CHANGE, Inc. The Toronto SBHC was the first SBHC opened east of Columbus and south of Cleveland in Ohio. The SBHC is staffed five days per week from 7AM-3PM daily with a nurse practitioner, a medical assistant, and a licensed social worker. The SBHC is located in the Toronto Elementary School wing. In order for students to receive treatment at the SBHC, parents must give consent by completing a packet of forms.
